Zodiac: Sagittarius seem to be guided by luck, good things happen to Sagittarius and this is usually because of their optimistic outlook and positive disposition which attracts good fortune. Despite hardships, Sagittarius is always optimistic that good things will happen tomorrow and the future carries good luck. Sagittarius have a vibrant, expansive personality that is free like a bird, Sagittarius cannot be contained. They are full of curiosity and they always look forward to the future, seldom dwelling on the past. Sagittarius are detached from emotions because emotions hold a person back, they do not like to talk about their feelings, they simply experience them and move on. Sagittarius can be reckless and irresponsible because they will jump at a suggestion of something new before they weigh the advantages and disadvantages.

General information: Daughter of Naval Captain Charon Morgan Bartlett and the late Poinsettia Bartlett who committed suicide when her daughters were ages thirteen and eleven. The sisters were raised with the mindset of following in their fathers footsteps, joining the navy and serving the rest of their lives as military women, but after Mischa met Dr. Jules Tomlin in her last year of High School, she put all her efforts into learning medicine, much to her fathers unhappiness. While she continued to fight on the sea front, she soon completely lost interest in the life her father chose for her and eventually left Dock Argus for good. Three years later, her younger sister Willow, a champion fencer and renowned naval officer in her own right, met with an unfortunate end during a demonic raid on the northern coast of Vitale, a small island known for its involvement in the “black trade”. The ship she was defending subsequently sunk, taking with it Willow and her unborn child. Mischa never stopped blaming herself for not taking her sister with her when she departed.

With Dr. Tomlin as her surrogate father, she fought through endless opposition from male physicians and was eventually the first woman in the history of the Guardian realm to not only be appointed as a Viceroy, but to hold a position of power greater than Brigadier General. During the last Great Demon War, her mentor was called onto the battlefield to support Baal Dresden, father of Führer Ezra Dresden, and when things took a turn for the worse, the good doctor was left to die in favor of Baal, leaving Mischa with a grudge to bare against Ezra who she believes made a very bad, biased call.

Highly value knowledge, competence, and structure. Driven to derive meaning from their visions. Long-range thinkers. Have very high standards for their performance, and the performance of others. Motive: She has something to prove, not only to herself or her father, but to the young women who are subjugated by the males of her world.

Internal conflict: Her need to remain aloof and professional that is constantly at war with the passionate being she really is.

External conflict: Trying to remain a level-headed, rational women in a world dictated by cowardly men. If she reacts to their taunting and cheap attempts at intimidation she’s considered a ‘bitch’ or ‘unfit for her position’. So she hides her hurt and anger behind her work.

Biggest fear: Not being respected as she deserves.

Name: Zain Dresden

Zodiac: Libras are the diplomat of the zodiac. They are able to put themselves in other’s shoes and see things through another person’s point of view. They are the ones that always want to make things right and have balance and harmony in their life, their surroundings and the lives of the people close to them.

They have captivating charm, elegant taste and they are easy to like due to their eager-to-please, easygoing nature. In return for a Libra’s amazing ability to be a good listener, sooth and calm people, they expect admiration. Libras will gather a group of people, everyone will become friends then the Libra will be in the center of the group. They like the attention and the admiration for the people that they have brought together. Libras are very intelligent, they often hide this inside their easygoing exterior. They express their intelligence through creativity, most are involved in some sort of artistic or creative pursuit. Many people overlook just how intelligent a Libra actually is. General information: Born the fifth son of Baal and Zahra Dresden, he was the first in over a hundred years to be diagnosed with the Hysteria Gene–a genetic disorder common in large Reaper families that is catastrophic in nature, granting it’s barer extraordinarily destructive power in the form of uncontrollable rage. Around the time of the last great Demon War, some fifty odd years ago, Zain returned home to his pregnant wife Maia and the gene was activated, sending him into a frenzy that ended in the termination of the woman’s life and her pregnancy. Though, he is completely unaware that he committed the heinous deed, he still blames himself for not being able to protect them, despite his obvious mental and emotional instability. He spends the rest of his life muted, diminished by mind altering drugs, constantly toeing the line of his burning need to avenge her, and wishing he could join her in death.

Personality type: INFJ – The Protector

Quietly forceful, original, and sensitive. Tend to stick to things until they are done. Extremely intuitive about people, and concerned for their feelings. Well-developed value systems which they strictly adhere to. Well-respected for their perseverance in doing the right thing. Likely to be individualistic, rather than leading or following.

Hero Archetype: The LOST SOUL: a sensitive being, he understands. Tortured, secretive, brooding, and unforgiving. That’s this man. But he’s also vulnerable. He might be a wanderer or an outcast. In work he’s creative, but probably also a loner. The PROFESSOR: coolly analytical, he knows every answer. He’s logical, introverted, and inflexible, but genuine about his feelings. Internal conflict: He struggles with some innate knowledge that he did something very bad but can’t bring himself to face his past. He misses Maia terribly and often still searches for her in his dreams, awakening to only nightmares and an empty bed. He lives each day in his own personal hell, his body, a jail cell he has no hopes of ever escaping.

External conflict: He still physically fights against the Hysteria Gene, even with the help of the medication there is some foreign part of him that craves that power. He wants to taste that darkness inside of him, to claim it and bend it to his will, but he knows that the Gene will only drive him to destroy everything he loves, including himself.

Biggest fear: Losing anyone else to the Hysteria.

Genesis Character Introduction: Victoria Bouchard

Next on our list of character introductions is our spunky heroine, Victoria.

Adorable to look at, our heroine is a fiery little number with a potty-mouth and a penchant for getting her way, even if it means resorting to violence. Although she isn’t physically the strongest, she uses her enhanced mental prowess to overcome any obstacle she finds in her way. Now introducing, Victoria Bouchard, Kaizer’s Angel.

Name: Victoria Bouchard

Played by: Shin Yeong Kim/Ji Eun Lee

Age: 24

Birthdate: September 18th, 1990

Zodiac: Virgo exists in the mind, everything is inside. To the world, Virgo presents a calm and collected exterior, but on the inside, nervous uncontrolled energy resides. They are constantly trying to figure things out, how to improve everything; analyzing and thinking. Virgo can tire itself out without even moving! Virgo has a constant drive to improve and perfect, this can lead to extreme pickiness and finickiness. They are pure, their motives are honest, never malicious and they want to accomplish something.

General information: Since she was a small child, Victoria has always had problems with her sight, a fact which often left her ostracized by her siblings and classmates. A true daddy’s girl, her only friend and confidant growing up was her father Percy Bouchard, who doted on the girl, spending a good portion of his time making sure she felt right at home. During her teenage years, Mr. Bouchard was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and spent the remainder of his life on earth in constant suffering. Victoria blamed herself. After her father’s death, she was sent to Harlan, Iowa to attend college at Viking Lake University, where she met and fell in love with Kaizer Dresden, a brilliant albeit lazy Grim Reaper. She knows his secret, to a certain extent, and he’s forever curious about the strange mental abilities she displays.

Personality Type: ISTJ – The Duty Fulfiller

Serious and quiet, interested in security and peaceful living. Extremely thorough, responsible, and dependable. Well-developed powers of concentration. Usually interested in supporting and promoting traditions and establishments. Well-organized and hard working, they work steadily towards identified goals. They can usually accomplish any task once they have set their minds to it.

Heroine Archetype: The SPUNKY KID – Gutsy and true, she is loyal to the end. She is a favorite of many writers, and for good reason. You can’t help but root for her. She’s the girl with moxie. She’s not looking to be at the top of the heap; she just wants to be in her own little niche. She’s the team player, the one who is always ready to lend a hand.

Ambitions: To graduate at the top of her class and later, help find the psychopath who’s making sashimi out of all her friends and classmates.

Internal conflict: She seems composed on the outside, but inside she struggles with the potential to do great evil in the world instead of good.

External conflict: She’s self-deprecating when it comes to her love for Kaizer. She can’t help but believe that she isn’t good enough for him.

Biggest fear: Failing. Whether it’s in life or a board game. She can’t stand to lose. Being blind, losing her sight and being ineffective…these are the fears that haunt Victoria Bouchard.

Bio: Victoria was born in Norfolk Virginia. As a child she always dreamed of attending Harvard, or generally any Ivy League school, but quickly realized that her dream would be far from possible with her parent’s limited income. Victoria was cursed with poor eyesight as well as seemingly limitless mental abilities. She soaks up information like a human sponge, processes data like a super computer and can sometimes even hear the thoughts of the people around her.

Genesis Character Introduction: Kaizer Dresden

Name: Kaizer Dresden

Race: Grim Reaper

Played by: Tao Huang

Age: 24 (Appearance) 72 (Actual Age)

Birthdate: October 25th

Zodiac: Scorpios are very deep, intense people, there is always more than meets the eye. They present a cool, detached and unemotional air to the world, yet lying underneath is tremendous power, extreme strength, intense passion, a strong will and a persistent drive.

General information: The youngest son of the Guardian Realm’s prestigious Dresden family. He was exiled to Harlan Iowa after blacking out and going on a rampage that resulted in the murder of several mortals before their time was up. Since then, he has taken up communications at Viking Lake University to pass the time and has developed a deep relationship with the mortal woman Victoria Bouchard.

Personality Type: ENTJ – The Executive Assertive and outspoken – they are driven to lead. Excellent ability to understand difficult organizational problems and create solid solutions. Intelligent and well-informed, they usually excel at public speaking. They value knowledge and competence, and usually have little patience with inefficiency or disorganization.

Hero Archetype: The BAD BOY- Dangerous to know, he walks on the wild side. This is the rebel, or the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. He’s bitter and volatile, a crushed idealist, but he’s also charismatic and street smart.

Best strength: Strong, Reliable, Protective

Worst flaws: The Tease, Yandere, The Berserker, Brilliant but Lazy.

Ego flaw: Impatience.

Ambitions: To get back into his family’s good graces, to prove to his eldest brother Ezra that he’s competent and capable of handling business. Finding a way out of his ‘relationship’ with Victoria without hurting her (*Good luck). Later, to stop the psychotic killer trudging through Harlan murdering all the humans, his friends included.

Motive: At one point he is ruled by power and familial duty, but as the story unfolds, he realizes through the help of his brother Zain, that his loyalty to the woman he loves is ultimately more important.

Internal conflict: He’s constantly torn between wanting to do something great, and wanting to do absolutely nothing at all.

External conflict: He’s having a hard time balancing his love for Victoria with his fear of losing her.

Biggest fear: Losing someone close to him, most importantly, Victoria.

Bio: Being the youngest of fifteen, he’s spent his life being overlooked in favor of his powerful elder siblings, so naturally he’s learned not to ask for much. He’s lazy, and would much rather spend his time watching horror movies on Netflix and binge eating pizza than saving the world. He was exiled to the mortal realm as punishment and currently resides there, still ‘grounded’. At the end of the day, Kaizer just wants someplace–and someone–he can call his own, without fear of losing it to his family or the Guardian’s who rule his home world.
