Three years later, her younger sister Willow, a champion fencer and renowned naval officer in her own right, met with an unfortunate end during a demonic raid on the northern coast of Vitale, a small island known for its involvement in the “black trade”. The ship she was defending subsequently sunk, taking with it Willow and her unborn child. Mischa never stopped blaming herself for not taking her sister with her when she departed.

With Dr. Tomlin as her surrogate father, she fought through endless opposition from male physicians and was eventually the first woman in the history of the Guardian realm to not only be appointed as a Viceroy, but to hold a position of power greater than Brigadier General. During the last Great Demon War, her mentor was called onto the battlefield to support Baal Dresden, father of Führer Ezra Dresden, and when things took a turn for the worse, the good doctor was left to die in favor of Baal, leaving Mischa with a grudge to bare against Ezra who she believes made a very bad, biased call.

He wants to taste that darkness inside of him, to claim it and bend it to his will, but he knows that the Gene will only drive him to destroy everything he loves, including himself.

Genesis: Meet the First General who needs no introduction.

Axel Mariselle has dedicated his life to the service of Führer Ezra Dresden and his cause, whatever it may be. From conquering dates in High School to the vanquishing of nations–Axel has remained dutifully by his masters side. Yet, behind those eyes that smolder like simmering coals, is an undeniable madness. He’s quite insane, quite literally off his rocker, but he’d sooner take his own life than not be the man that hand delivers to his lord everything he’s ever dreamed. Ezra’s Dark Knight, he is an assassin, homicidal genius, master of war and best friend. And his unquenchable thirst for destruction is leading him down the irrefutable path of his own demise.

Biggest fear: Dying in battle as his father did. Though this fear isn’t nearly enough to keep him off the battlefield, it just makes him work harder.

Genesis: Second Excerpt!

     It had been over three years since he’d last laid eyes on the man who’d thrown him out of his home and Kaizer would be lying if he said he wasn’t still holding a bit of a grudge. He knew he’d have to return sooner or later to sort things out with the asshole, he just didn’t think he’d have Victoria in tow. What if something happened to her? What if Ezra took out his frustrations on her instead of him? He didn’t have the power to fight off one brother, let alone his entire guard, especially his first general, if he was forced to defend himself. He stared down at her, his body tensing as doubt and uncertainty flooded him. Was he making the right decision? Or should he be headed in the other direction, running for her life as well as his own? The thought of losing her kept him rooted in place, unable to move for the fear of never laying eyes on her again. Kaizer watched a door open down the hall as Zain stepped out to greet them, his all knowing eyes reading his posture and knowing instantly that he was thinking of bolting. “Zain’s waiting for us, Kai.” She smiled up at him, completely oblivious to the dangers they were about to face. He couldn’t help but sigh as he placed a hand at the small of her back, keeping constant contact as he pushed them forward.

“I guess it’s too late to run now.” He muttered, watching Zain nod knowingly as they approached. He didn’t speak as he stood aside and allowed them to pass into the confines of Ezra’s personal sanctuary. He remembered that office clearly from his childhood, having been sent there for punishment at least twice a week until he graduated high school. It once belonged to their father and just entering it again made him feel like a sniveling child, begging for forgiveness for whatever petty crime he’d committed. It almost felt like stepping into a principals office, knowing you were either going to be suspended or beaten with a yard stick longer than you were tall. It was decorated in rich woods and earthy tones that were aesthetically pleasing to the eye, welcoming and warm, a place you never would have expected to be a military briefing room. He stared over at the antique claw-foot, wooden writing desk, polished to perfection and reflecting the grim image of the man who sat behind it, a golden pen in hand moving smoothly across parchment as he signed orders to move his armies around the world. Ezra Dresden was a man to be feared, not only because of his power or the soldiery he commanded, but for is intelligence and dedication to completing any task he set his mind to. A formidable foe, he was not the type of person you wanted standing beside your enemies on the battlefield, and although at that moment he could have launched himself across the room and strangled him for his expulsion, he couldn’t help but be proud that such a person was his own flesh and blood.

Kaizer watched him lift his head, as if he’d only just noticed them entering the room, his dark eyes going from Zain’s calm form to Kai who moved to stand protectively in front of Victoria. Those eyes of his flashed as he shuffled the documents he’d been working on and set them aside. Rising gracefully from his high-backed, antique chair, he moved to stand in front of his desk, leaning casually against it as he slipped his hands into the pockets of his expensive cotton slacks.

“Before we begin,” He spoke, his deep voice erupting from his chest in the form of a thunderous growl, “I just want to remind you that were we not in the presence of a young woman, I would be slamming your head against the floor for your ignorant, ill-advised, behavior.” His eyes briefly burned a brilliant amethyst before returning to their natural jet black.

Ezra Dresden is the man every woman wants in her bed. Dark, powerful and dangerously sexy, it’s his pride both as a man and a Grim Reaper that keeps him at the top of the heap. Introducing, the Führer. Ezra the Third.

Zodiac: Capricorn

General information: The eldest and current Patriarch of the Dresden Clan. The commander. He’s Ezra the Third, and the fourth Führer spawned from the impressive Dresden lineage.

Personality Type: The Protector. Quietly forceful, original, and at times insensitive. Thanks to his mother, he has a very well-developed value system which he strictly adheres to. Is known to very respectful of women, a real gentleman, he refuses to strike or even curse in front of a female. Well-respected for his perseverance in doing whatever it takes to get a job done. A born leader. Has trouble losing or accepting defeat. Hairpin trigger. Enraged by idiocy. Will lay your ass out flat for disrespecting a woman in front of him.

Hero Archetype: The WARRIOR – A noble champion, he acts with honor. This man is the reluctant rescuer or the knight in shining armor. Adorable to look at, our heroine is a fiery little number with a potty-mouth and a penchant for getting her way, even if it means resorting to violence. Although she isn’t physically the strongest, she uses her enhanced mental prowess to overcome any obstacle she finds in her way. Now introducing, Victoria Bouchard, Kaizer’s Angel.

Birthdate: September 18th, 1990

Zodiac: Virgo exists in the mind, everything is inside. To the world, Virgo presents a calm and collected exterior, but on the inside, nervous uncontrolled energy resides. They are constantly trying to figure things out, how to improve everything; analyzing and thinking. Virgo can tire itself out without even moving! Virgo has a constant drive to improve and perfect, this can lead to extreme pickiness and finickiness. They are pure, their motives are honest, never malicious and they want to accomplish something.

General information: Since she was a small child, Victoria has always had problems with her sight, a fact which often left her ostracized by her siblings and classmates. A true daddy’s girl, her only friend and confidant growing up was her father Percy Bouchard, who doted on the girl, spending a good portion of his time making sure she felt right at home. After her father’s death, she was sent to Harlan, Iowa to attend college at Viking Lake University, where she met and fell in love with Kaizer Dresden, a brilliant albeit lazy Grim Reaper. She knows his secret, to a certain extent, and he’s forever curious about the strange mental abilities she displays.

Ambitions: To graduate at the top of her class and later, help find the psychopath who’s making sashimi out of all her friends and classmates.

Internal conflict: She seems composed on the outside, but inside she struggles with the potential to do great evil in the world instead of good.

External conflict: She’s self-deprecating when it comes to her love for Kaizer. She can’t help but believe that she isn’t good enough for him.

Biggest fear: Failing. Whether it’s in life or a board game. She can’t stand to lose. Being blind, losing her sight and being ineffective…these are the fears that haunt Victoria Bouchard.

Bio: Victoria was born in Norfolk Virginia. As a child she always dreamed of attending Harvard, or generally any Ivy League school, but quickly realized that her dream would be far from possible with her parent’s limited income. Victoria was cursed with poor eyesight as well as seemingly limitless mental abilities. She soaks up information like a human sponge, processes data like a super computer and can sometimes even hear the thoughts of the people around her.
